Myanmar education protests continue

  • AFP: 'Scores of Myanmar students rallied illegally in Yangon'; holding a protest without official permission in an offence in the country. 
  • First protests, of around 350 students, took place on Friday.
  • New education law involves introduction of independent body to oversee Burmese universities; students say body won't be independent and won't represent students, want individual universities to have autonomy.
