New York Times: AT&T helped the NSA spy on American's communications

  • Newly released documents revealed by Edward Snowden and seen by the New York Times and Pro-Publica show that the American communication giant's relationship with the NSA was 'highly collaborative' and that AT&T showed an 'extreme willingness to help' in giving the NSA access to billions of emails from its network.

  • The report also claims that the leaked documents show that AT&T provided 'technical assistance' to help NSA install wiretaps on all internet communications at UN HQ in New York.
